    State of the University Address

    President Carol Folt invites you to attend this year’s State of the University addresses, where she will share key updates, highlight recent achievements and discuss the exciting future ahead for USC. This annual event is an opportunity to hear directly from Folt about the university’s vision and priorities and the collective impact of our Trojan community. There are two opportunities to attend:

    • Tuesday, March 4, 8:30 a.m., Bovard Auditorium (University Park Campus)
    • Thursday, March 6, 8 a.m., Aresty Auditorium (Health Sciences Campus)

    Open to all USC students, faculty and staff. RSVP required.

    Empowering Communities

    USC Black History Month Block Party

    Join us to celebrate Black History Month at the USC Health Sciences Campus.

    This farmers market-style event will feature local Black-owned businesses and community organizations, featuring exciting performances by historically Black organizations. All are welcome to enjoy an afternoon filled with culture, community and connection.

    The event will be held on Pappas Quad (Health Sciences Campus).

    visions and voices

    El Respiro / Respire

    El Respiro / Respire is a participatory performance developed by Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary Colombian artist Carolina Caycedo, who will lead up to 150 participants in spelling Transición Justa Ya and Just Transition Now with their bodies. To increase awareness about community-led efforts to transition away from fossil fuels, the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for USC students and the public to create works of art with leaders at the intersection of art, science, and environmental justice.
