Postdoctoral Programs

Our postdoctoral programs cross boundaries and take scholars to the next steps of their career with the connections and community that we offer. With the help of the USC Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, programs are tailored to prepare postdocs for careers as independent researchers, academics and leaders of their chosen fields.

    Provost’s Postdoctoral Scholar Research Grants

The primary purpose of the Provost’s Postdoctoral Scholar Research Grant program is to facilitate the independence of our postdoctoral scholars and help launch their research careers. It does so by providing grants that assist postdoctoral scholars in developing or maintaining their own independent research projects.

    Postdoctoral Scholar Travel Support

The Postdoctoral Scholar Travel support program is designed to enable postdocs to attend professional conferences to present their research. This funding opportunity will partially offset the expense associated with registration and travel to present your research at local, national or international conferences. This program is intended to assist postdoctoral scholars whose attendance at a professional meeting or conference will enhance their professional development.
